Hi, I'm Cara! Creator of SkyFit Dance Fitness, ACE Certified instructor, and holistic wellness coach. Dancing since age 4, teaching since 2016. I built SkyFit so everyone can show up, have fun, and just be themselves.

Hi, I'm Cara, creator of SkyFit Dance Fitness! I've been dancing since age 4, trained at a school of the arts, and have been teaching fitness since 2016. I'm an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and holistic wellness coach. I created SkyFit out of pure love for dance and a personal journey that took me from 250 lbs to 135 lbs. I wanted to build a space where no one feels judged, no matter your shape, size, color, or pronouns. Just come as you are, move your body, and have fun. I'm a Charlotte area native, now living in Concord with my husband and three kids. Welcome to the SkyFit family!

Hi, I'm Mercedes! Kentucky-raised dancer, dentist-by-day, and SkyFit instructor by passion. Dancing since age 6, All-American collegiate dancer, and 10+ years of teaching. I found this community and never looked back. So glad to be here with you!

Hi, I'm Mercedes, one of the instructors here at SkyFit! I was born and raised in Kentucky before relocating to Charlotte to pursue my career in dentistry, and dance has been a constant throughout my whole journey.

I've been dancing since age 6, competing in studios and on my high school dance team before going on to dance at Western Kentucky University, where I earned All-American honors and served as Team Captain. I've been teaching dance across multiple styles for over 10 years, working with studios, high schools, and colleges along the way.

I found SkyFit while looking for a place in Charlotte to keep my love for dance alive, and I fell in love with this community from my very first class. Now I get to dance alongside you AND lead the room. I couldn't be more excited to be here!
